I have a masters degree in clinical nutrition and a PhD in nursing studies, both from the University of Nottingham. I also have 12 years of research experience and am able to understand and pass on the latest research in relation to IBS and food intolerance.

I love food, I love cooking (especially baking my own sourdough bread) and I love long indulgent dinners with family and friends. I also love working with clients to find them ways of eating that minimise their unpleasant digestive symptoms but allow them to continue eating foods and flavours that they love.

I spent years working as a nurse so, if you need to talk about potentially embarrassing digestive symptoms, I’m here to listen. You can share as much or as little as you want and I promise you an entirely confidential and compassionate response.

Don’t just take my word for it, here are some comments from a few of the many people who I have helped to get their IBS under control

"After living with IBS symptoms that were becoming more debilitating, I decided to ask for Lydia's help having been recommended by a friend. I cannot tell you how life-changing my consultation has been. Upon completing a questionnaire regarding my symptoms and lifestyle, I had a long discussion with Lydia and she advised me on some changes to my eating habits. I made these changes and I can honestly say it has made me feel so much better.  I can now make informed choices and manage my own IBS. Thank you so much, Lydia. "

"Thank you so much it was really helpful today and great to finally understand why certain foods affect me. I am already feeling so much more confident about what I can eat without it causing me pain and bloating."

"Thank you Lydia for the support - it really helps. I am so pleased with how things are going and grateful for feeling in control again!
